Humanities & the ArtsLISAR undertook two major events this spring

The Lubar Institute for the Study of the Abrahamic Religions (LISAR) undertook two major spring events. Held with the Center for the Study of Liberal Democracy, the Institute’s fourth annual conference, “Religion and the State,” covered such topics as “Religion in the Curriculum” and the “Limits of Tolerance.”

In mid-April, the Institute hosted Dalia Mogahed, Executive Director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, who presented polling data on Muslim attitudes worldwide to both a large public lecture audience and three conversation groups. LISAR also looks forward to attending the 46th Annual Islamic Society of North America Conference in July.
