| Hauser awarded $31m to support Wisconsin Longitudinal Study |
Vilas Research Professor Robert M. Hauser has been awarded three grants from the National Institute on Aging. The grants total $31 million to support intensive home interviews and collaborative research in the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study (WLS).
The WLS has followed a sample of 10,317 men and women who graduated from high school in 1957 and their randomly selected siblings.
The WLS began as a study of transitions to post-secondary education and work, and it is now focuses on health and well-being in the retirement years.
